Supplying The Enemy
Robert Koehler of The Marmot's Hole reports on the story of a South Korean company selling 107 tons of sodium cyanide, a chemical weapons precursor, to a Chinese company which then transferred the shipment to North Korea. This is not good and also apparently not the first time it's happened. To have South Korean products going to supply the North Korean military establishment is outrageous. Hell, that would be like the U.S. sending secret missile guidance technology to a communist country. Simply outrageous!
Oh, wait a minute. Clinton did that. In fact, now that I think of it, every time the Chinese communists launch a satellite or warhead, they should probably send a thank you note to the former president.
Of note, though, is that the South Koreans prosecuted the company official responsible for the transfer of the sodium cyanide and he was given a suspended sentence. As far as I know, nobody has been held in the least bit accountable for the transfer of missile technology to China.
