Convicted Cannibal Can't Stomach Bio-Pic

(Rotenburg, Germany) German cannibal Armin Meiwes, convicted last year of killing and eating a man he met through the Internet, seeks a legal ban on the distribution of a feature film telling the story of his crime.

Meiwes was sentenced to eight and one-half years in prison but the case is being appealed. Meiwes wants an injunction against the film being shown since it may prejudice the jury for his appeal. He also feels it is an inaccurate portrayal and shows him in a bad light as a bestial killer.

Injunction or no injunction, I believe it's impossible to show Armin Miewes as being any worse. Cannibalism is a subject that simply can't be made pretty.
