Woman Jailed for Rape of 11-Year-Old Boy

(Florissant, Missouri) A 37-year-old Florissant woman, Judith Zweifel, was arrested and charged with 30 felony sex offenses for repeatedly engaging in sex with an 11-year-old boy. The crimes allegedly occurred from December 2004 to August 2005. Zweifel specifically faces 19 counts of statutory sodomy, 10 counts of statutory rape and one count of child molestation.

Zweifel, a married mother of two, is alleged to have befriended and preyed upon an 11-year-old playmate of her 9-year-old son. The boy's family became suspicious and alerted the police.

Zweifel is being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center in lieu of $500,000 bail. A court appearance is scheduled for the end of January.
