Coach Guilty of Sex with Student

(Akron, Ohio) Last September, cheerleading and dance coach Mishelle Robinson, 31, a married mother of two, was arrested and charged with felony sexual battery for alleged sexual contact with a 16-year-old male student.

On Friday, in accordance with a plea agreement, Robinson pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual battery and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The agreement also stipulates that she must register as a sex offender.

Summit County Common Pleas Judge Patricia A. Cosgrove scheduled sentencing for February 28. Robinson faces a possible five years in prison for each count.
