Female Sex Tourists in Africa

(Mombasa, Kenya) No need to call Interpol. The thriving sex tourism business operating in East Africa is legal. Rich, older white women are being served, serviced and pampered by young black men.
"It's not evil," said Jake Grieves-Cook, chairman of the Kenya Tourist Board, when asked about the practice of older rich women traveling for sex with young Kenyan men.

"But it's certainly something we frown upon."

Also, the health risks are stark in a country with an AIDS prevalence of 6.9 percent. Although condom use can only be guessed at, Julia Davidson, an academic at Nottingham University who writes on sex tourism, said that in the course of her research she had met women who shunned condoms -- finding them too "businesslike" for their exotic fantasies.
Despite the risk, the trade continues. And the practice in East Africa is not uncommon since the female sex tourism business is established in many locations throughout the world.
The primary destinations for female sex tourism are Southern Europe (mainly Italy, Greece, Turkey, Croatia and Spain), the Caribbean (led by Jamaica, Barbados and the Dominican Republic), Southeast Asia (Bali in Indonesia and Phuket in Thailand), Ghana and Kenya in Africa. Lesser destinations include Nepal, Morocco, Fiji, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
Although exact figures are unknown, it's estimated that hundreds of thousands of North American and European female sex tourists are spending millions of dollars to fill their gaping vacation desires.
