(La Grande, Oregon) A 37-year-old local woman, Dana Allison Schaad, faces charges of multiple sex crimes stemming from an alleged inappropriate relationship with a boy under the age of 16. Schaad was arrested on September 12 after an investigation by the Oregon State Police found evidence that she had sex with the boy on three occasions in August and September.
This week, Schaad was arraigned before Union County Circuit Court Judge Russell West on counts of rape, sexual abuse, sexual misconduct and contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor.
Schaad, the ex-wife of a sheriff's deputy, is currently free pending trial.
