School Bus Hit & Run by Alleged Drunk

(Hillview, Kentucky) A 41-year-old local woman, Cynthia D. Elmore, was arrested last Thursday by Bullitt County Sheriff's deputies for allegedly driving drunk and crashing into a loaded school bus before fleeing the scene.

A Hillview officer located the vehicle and stopped the driver, who failed a filed (sic) sobriety test. She then failed a Breathalyzer test.

Elmore faces charges of operating under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and having an open container in the vehicle.

Elmore was booked into custody and released Friday on bond.

A court appearance has been scheduled for February 26.
